Description
Hello, my name is Kathryn W and I am a experienced carer with a passion for helping others lead independent lives. As a female carer with a wealth of experience, I have worked with individuals who have faced a range of challenges including mild cognitive impairment, anxiety, depression, challe ging behaviours & heart disease. With a true dedication to my clients' overall well-being, I strive to provide the highest level of care and support.
In terms of my practical skills, I am able to assist with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, and dressing. Additionally, I offer valuable companionship that helps foster a positive social environment. As a carer, I believe that a healthy diet plays a crucial role in overall well-being, and I thoroughly enjoy cooking nutritious meals for my clients.
Beyond my caregiving skills, I have a variety of hobbies that I incorporate into my work. I am a fan of card games, which can provide mental stimulation and entertainment for both myself and my clients. I also enjoy cooking and baking, ensuring that my clients have access to delicious and home-cooked meals. Furthermore, engaging in social activities such as board games and video games allows for meaningful interactions.
I have a true love for animals and find joy in caring for and being around them. Whether it be cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, or birds, I am comfortable and able to provide care and companionship to a variety of pets.
Caring, friendly, and helpful are attributes that I embody in all aspects of my work. My motivation to be a carer stems from the genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others. It brings me great joy to see my clients thrive and maintain their independence, and I am committed to providing the highest quality care to each individual I work with.
